Where is it? Near Rachel, NV. Recently Google removed the Rachel, NV label on their maps images. The label was there in June '05, but not in July. Why? Could it be from all the recent interest and discussion about this interesting spot where eyewitnesses have repeatedly seen UFO's and other strange sightings? And, one eyewitness says he worked there and actually SAW a UFO in a hangar. More on this in the coming months. To find Area 51 (which until the mid 90's the government said never existed): go to maps.google.com enter rachel, nv and then click Search button (note: formerly the town of Rachel, NV came up on google maps, but now it doesn't. why?) click Satellite images button in the upper right corner of the picture to get satellite picture images move your cursor to the left of the Sat image and "click and hold" the image and then drag the image all the way to the right and repeat this 2 more times (3 in all) careful not to move the image up or down while sliding it to the right double click the round like white area in order to center that area in the center of the image area and Wah Lah you've got Area 51 located.
